  1.  In a container, mix 1 part of PRO-MIX® CONNECT™ to 1 part of water. Water must be at a maximum temperature of 25 °C (77 °F) to avoid temperature shock.
  2.  Stir until the slurry is homogeneous.
  3.  Dip the root area of the plant into the mix. A close contact allows the mycorrhizal inoculant to quickly colonize the roots of the plant.
  4.  Transplant rooted cuttings and/or plant into a PRO-MIX® growing medium.

Yes, PRO-MIX® MPO is approved for organic use. This product is OMRI listed with the USDA National Organic Program. For more information, visit omri.org.

We recommend to begin fertilizer applications immediately after planting and continue throughout the crop cultivation cycle. The fertilizer program you select should consider the nutrient content of the water, crop type, and the plant stage of development. Always consult with the fertilizer manufacturer for the specific guidelines. Plants that are colonized by mycorrhizae show an enhanced ability to absorb nutrients. This improved nutrient uptake can lead to more efficient fertilizer use, potentially reducing fertilizer needs in crop cultivation.

PRO-MIX® CCX and PRO-MIX® CPX are washed three or four times until the raw material achieve an electrical conductivity (EC) below the 0.7 mmhos/cm target and maintain a stable pH range of 5.5 to 7.0.

Insert your index finger into the surface of the growing medium about 2 inches.  If the growing medium feel moist to the touch, no need to water.  If the growing medium is dry to the touch, time to water again. Irrigate until fertilizer solution begins to run from the bottom of the growing container.

Yes. PRO-MIX® CCX and PRO-MIX® CPX are certified with OMRI in United States and Ecocert in Canada.

No. PRO-MIX® CCX contains coir fibers and coir chunks that hold water and provide structure for air porosity.  Adding perlite increases air porosity and reduces water holding capacity, therefore adding perlite will increase the need to irrigation frequently.

Yes, each batch of PRO-MIX® CCX and PRO-MIX® CPX is tested to ensure they are free from any harmful heavy metals.

PRO-MOSS BBK has a unique structure that tightly holds high amounts of water to prevent the compost layer from drying out. Water is then available to induce pinning and favor mushroom development. It is considered the best material to use for agaricus mushroom casing layer.

PRO-MOSS BBK produces a slightly lumping casing which mushrooms emerge in clumps that are very clean and easy to harvest for better-quality mushrooms.
