PRO-MOSS® TBK
PRO-MOSS® TBK is made of select long-fibered blond sphagnum peat moss for general commercial use. It provides a high degree of water retention and air porosity for a wide range of applications.

PRO-MOSS® BBK
This one-of-a-kind all-natural peat blend offers characteristics which optimize the structure, profile, and water-holding capacity of your casing, therefore the quality of your harvest. This quality is defined by the harvesting method we use. After working hand in hand with commercial growers, we have found that the main benefit of using this blend is improving the size, quality, quantity and cleanliness of the crops.

"Peat moss remains the primary component for casing layers in the cultivation of mushrooms. Peat moss is combined with limestone and other materials to induce mushroom pinning and development. Fibrous peat works well to hold large amounts of water. In the last several years, we have seen the introduction of humus-type peats, which are used alone or blended with fibrous peats to produce a slower, more erratic pinning of mushrooms. Some growers prefer this casing blend, since mushrooms can be picked over several days instead of large flushes all at once."
